The Wedding Industry Awards judging day {Fetcham Park, Surrey}

Last month on one of the very frosty days, some of the most respected experts in the wedding industry arrived at one of my favourite wedding venues, the stunning Fetcham Park in Surrey. Fetcham was hosting the judging day where these people were there to decided on the winners of the 2013 Wedding Industry Awards. Being an entirely impartial bystander afforded me the opportunity to see the titans of our wedding industry at work – it was an honour to cover the event! The awards will be held next week in a glittering ceremony, but first the hard work of judging the many shortlisted candidates was attended by names such as Miranda Eason of You and Your Wedding Magazine, award winning wedding dress designer Sassi Holford, wedding planner Sarah Haywood, Helen and Dominic Sharland from Cutture wedding stationery, Annabel from Love My Dress and of course the founders Anna and Damian Bailey.

The judges were then treated to a wonderful lunch under watchful eye of Fetcham’s Salon cherubs which adorn the ceiling in the Grade II listed mansion. The table looked incredible thanks to Couvert, Cutture and the very talented Bloomingayles.
