Teaching romance { wedding photography Buckinghamshire }

Emma and Simon got married to a backdrop of fields of green and a marquee filled with childhood memories in the form of a school theme! Simon is a teacher – which meant he made a fantastic grooms speech – nearly as scary as talking at a class of 30 children?! The weather was fantastic and after the church service everyone enjoyed a reception in Emma’s parents wonderful farmhouse garden while we nipped off to do some couple portraits. We just had to get some pictures in the summer meadow that Emma’s dad and Simon had planted especially for the wedding! Emma had a stunning Stephanie Allin dress accompanied by some incredible sparkly Jimmy Choo wedges and her bridesmaids looked beautiful in blue.

The bridesmaids had a fab camper van to chauffer them around and the couple travelled in the very same wedding car that Emma’s parents had on their wedding day! Just as the couple arrived at the venue the local air display team did a fly over for the couple – it was fantastic!!

The marquee looked great – decorated by the couple and friends and family – I loved the homemade chutneys, jams and pickles on the tables which were all named after school subjects! Even the tables had fun things for the guests to enjoy relating to the subject! My favourite was the game Operation on the Biology table! I just had to get Emma and Simon out again in the gorgeous evening sun for a picture in front of the beautiful Indian Bean tree which was in full blossom tree in her parents garden and a quick swing in the hammock was essential!! The evening climitised in some raucous cèilidh dancing! Such a great day which I know so many people will remember for many years to come!
