Love on the slopes { wedding photography, Surrey }
Oh I have had a big grin on my face putting this wedding together for a blog post – so much fun! James and Louise really know how to throw a party! I was thrilled when the couple asked me to do their wedding photography as I loved the plans for their day so much! It started in the Surrey church in the grounds of the childhood school of James. From there the guests were whisked off to the fabulous ski themed marquee reception (James proposed on the slopes!) and I stayed with the couple in the school grounds to take advantage of the wonderful late afternoon winter light. Louise looked absolutely stunning in a dress she designed herself, and as a former fashion illustration student you can see she has quite a talent for it – it was beautiful.
Once back at the reception the guests were entertained by surprise singing waiters – they serenaded their guests with their Russian ballads – they were a huge hit! The marquee looked fabulous in its hues of pinks, purples and blues tailored to fit the ski slope theme – the tables named after famous slopes and a table plan of a mountain range! The speeches were both emotional and hilarious – I think you can tell by the photos below! Finally the evening party kicked off with the incredible Spencer Kennedy & The Earthlight Boogie Band – I left the guests packed on the dance floor!

Those bridesmaids dresses are amazing – a striking blue carried perfectly by their simple design. Fab photos!
