Salt n’ Portraits { corporate portrait photography, Salt Lake City, Utah }
As some of you may know I recently invested a bit of time in myself and my business and popped over the Atlantic to Salt Lake City to attend the first ever ClickAway convention – a lifestyle photography convention aimed at photographers just like me – it couldn’t be missed! If you want to see some more pictures from my time there then please go and see my instagram account here! I didn’t actually get my camera out that often – I was mostly pen to paper or listening to the inspiring lectures that a plethora of successful photographers were giving – these internationally photographers included Joy Prouty, Jesh De Rox, Sue Bryce and Jamie Schultz. It was so good to sit and evaluate my own lifestyle business and most importantly think how I could improve my services for my clients.
Our trip was all down to my very good friend and fellow photographer Vicki Knights who first found out about the convention – and as soon as she mentioned it was located in one of my bucket list of places to visit – Salt Lake City – it didn’t take me long to convince her the long travelling times were worth it! And it really was – as well as being inspired and coming home with a brain chocka full of information we also had a blast! We spent our last afternoon with a trip out to the salt flats where she asked me to photograph some new portraits – she also took some fantastic ones of me!! I can now tick Salt Lake City off the list but I also wouldn’t hesitate in going back and also I really hope to get to ClickAway again too.

Thank you Eddie, I love these so much! I’m going to put one in a frame in my office to remind me of that fantastic and inspiring trip every time I look at it. Thank you for being the perfect travelling buddy! Vickixx
