Christmas crackers and chandeliers { wedding photography The Assembly Rooms, Bath }

At the very end of last year I travelled to Bath to be a part of Rob and Ellie’s Christmas time wedding celebration. Christmas seems like an age away now with this lovely spring weather – but hark back to the time you were sitting around the fire with your family drinking far too much Prosecco and eating your body weight in sausage rolls and Quality Streets – oh – or is that just me? Now – imagine you decided to get all of your family and friends together to do just that – thats exactly what Rob and Ellie did – and what better place to do it than the magnificent Assembly Rooms in Bath.

The day started out with a quick trip to the stunning Royal Crescent in Bath to meet the boys for a few quick snaps and then onto Ellie’s parents house where she was getting ready. Then onto a church decked with Christmas trees and guests singing hymns before finally arriving at The Assembly Rooms where the celebrations could begin. There was giant game filled Christmas crackers on the table, a yule log wedding cake and even a magician – you couldn’t ask for a better way to celebrate the festive season! Well I didn’t find a Toffee Penny but I guess I’d had more than enough already!
