1950’s debutantes inspired bridal shoot {Miss Bush Bridalwear, Surrey}

When Emma from Miss Bush Bridalwear asked me if I could take some images of her dresses using Cecil Beaton as inspiration at a Fetcham Park event, I quite frankly jumped at the chance. I think you all must know by now how I have a passion for bridal fashion photography! With her start on this Pinterest board as inspiration, I throughly enjoyed creating these images of her stunning array of dresses. Not only were the beautiful dresses from Jenny Packham, Maggie Sottero and Suzanne Neville  which suit a wide range of budgets, all equally stunning as the next – but the team around creating the ‘debutante’ look was oozing with talent.

Hair stylist Sharon Roberts of Wonderful Wedding Hair is responsible for the mixture of vintage hair and more modern styles. Makeup Artist Carolanne Armstrong will now always be known for the plum pout and I just love Hannah’s simple under the eye eyeliner. Stunning floral pieces in the models hair and bouquets created by Bloomingayles who is also responsible for originally inspiring us with the purple hues, and not forgetting the perfectly regal and appropriately opulent Fetcham Park, were the talent and backdrop to this showcase. Incredibly we also managed to fit in a short shoot of the gorgeous models in a selection of burgundy toned bridesmaid dresses including some from Jim Hjelm and TwoBirds – I know right – gold and burgundy has become a bit frowned upon over the years in weddings – well who says it can’t be gorgeous still! Here’s the proof! This part of the shoot was to aid the launch of the new Little Miss Bush blog, a very interesting read – fun and fashion filled! – so we also squeezed in a couple of my girls in some mini bridesmaid dresses – watch this space for some more of this soon!
