Lavender field mini portrait sessions {family photography, Surrey}

If you follow my facebook page then you will have noticed the announcement of my mini portrait sessions at the lavender fields. I often get families saying  to me –  ‘I must book a family portrait session in with you at those gorgeous lavender fields’ or ‘for our next shoot I’d love to have it at the lavender fields’ so this is a great opportunity to experience this. I already have bookings in but have made sure I am putting extra sessions on that day. The fields are really a stunning location – truly as breathtaking as it looks. I advise that it is better in the morning and in the evening to have a shoot there – particularly on a very hot summers day, so the sessions are scheduled around these times…..

A mini session differs from a main session mainly because of the time that is spent photographing you, so although there will be no time for outfit changes or for change of backgrounds, you WILL get the chance to have a gorgeous family portrait and some pictures of the kids too! You will receive these as prints included in your package but you can spend a little extra and have these framed and ready to enjoy at home if you wish. Extra prints and products can be purchased at the time of ordering (with no obligation).

Instead of a personal viewing with me afterwards, where I would normally show a slideshow and help you to choose products ready to enjoy at home, you will be able to view an online gallery of your images for 10 days in which time you can choose which images you would like to order.

The mini session is priced at an amazing £200* and for this you will receive:

 

– a 20 minute session

– a welcome pack and ‘style guide’ to help you to make the perfect outfit choices

– an online gallery of 15-20 images to choose from which will be online for 10 days

– 4 prints in your choice of size up to 10×8

– 1 of these as a print ready digital file and the 4 chosen images as Facebook ready watermarked images for sharing

– a facebook ‘timeline’ image to show off your gorgeous family to your friends and family throughout the year

– a Mayfield Lavender gift from out hosts gorgeous in-situ shop.

 

*this would cost you near to £400 on a full session so it is a fantastic price!

*For families with 3 children please add £30

 

There are only 6 20 minute sessions available at 9am, 9.40am and 10.20am and then some late afternoon sessions. 4pm, 4.40pm, 5.20pm and 6pm.

“What if there is bad weather?”: I am keeping that whole weekend free incase of bad weather so we can reschedule that weekend if possible. And if that weekend is bad we can go in the following week or in August. (I rarely have to postpone shoots at this location)
