Sandrine and Ricks wedding day was just one of those magical fairytale weddings. Sandrine really did look like a princess – absolutely breathtaking – and this couple are some of the nicest (and cleverest) people I have met. It was clear that everyone was having a wonderful time and were over the moon for this lovely couple. Big laughs and surprised cries in the church had to be one of the highlights when Sandrine’s beloved pet Dachshund came down the aisle as a surprise ring bearer. Rick and the bestman going for an Oscar with their ‘oh no we’ve lost the ring’ act! At Home Events along with the brides mother Anne created the most incredible Wow factor wedding reception – Sandrines favourite colours and an abundance of the most beautiful flowers. The bridesmaids looked stunning in matching blue and white lace dresses perfectly matching Sandrines lace dress and orchid teardrop bouquet.
I was absolutely spoilt with backdrops to photograph the wedding couple in at the stunning Painshill Park – a venue just down the road from me and knowing the 18th century gardens very well meant it felt like home! I left the wedding guests enjoying a glorious summer evening, ice-cream in cones and a Photo Booth in the wonderful conservatory and walled garden. I can’t wait to show Sandrine & Rick all of their images once they are back from their Safari honeymoon but for now I hope everyone enjoys this little preview of their day!
