My work as a portrait photographer in Surrey takes me to towns like Weybridge, Esher, Cobham and Walton-on-Thames, and gives me an opportunity to turn the spontaneous moments you share with your loved ones into beautiful artwork for your home. A portrait shoot is about being relaxed, cherishing the simple pleasures in life as each moment unfolds. It's a chance to refresh the bonds of family and friendship with the people you care about; as your portrait photographer I'll capture the expressions and gestures that say so much about your relationships with one another. Posing is kept to an absolute minimum because as a contemporary Surrey-based portrait photographer I believe that the most profound pictures are often the least planned.

Of course, I'm not just a portrait photographer based in Surrey. As a mother of two, I understand how to strike up a swift rapport with even the shyest little ones. They'll feel comfortable and safe in front of the camera, and I'll be able to capture them at their most natural, whether that means running through a field of lavender, kicking a ball around in the garden, or just watching the clouds roll by overhead. It's always best for a portrait shoot to take place outdoors – the fresh air and natural light create a timeless, ageless look – and if you have a favourite location like a local park or beauty spot, let's go there!

Portrait photography session fees start at £150 and £95 for babies under one; your shoot can take place in the comfort of your own home and/or a location of your choice. Your fee includes pre-consultation if required, the photo shoot itself, custom processing of your images and a viewing appointment.
