Becky and Pete got married in the grandiose elegance of Cowdray House this weekend – set in stunning landscape of Cowdray Park, in the heart of the South Downs National Park, this house was the perfect venue for their winter wedding knitting together English and American families. Buck Hall was the wow factor which hosted the ceremony and reception exquisitely adorned with absolutely beautiful floristry from Mary-Jane Vaughan. Becky looked stunning in her Jenny Packham gown and Pete fittingly smart in white tie. It was wonderful to see everyone getting to know each other in the classically English country house drawing rooms being looked after with a constant stream of champagne and canapés from the wonderful Rhubarb. I loved their clever reception theme reflecting their Anglo-American relationship (spot some table-names!) – and the surprise British and American desserts complete with fanfare and sparkers were a huge hit! Here’s a taster from their day!
A special thank you to Beattie Bailey who coordinated the day so wonderfully.
